I’m slowly working towards tracking down the problems with mod_security and Simple Twitter Connect.

Today I got the WSOD on this site while trying to Login using Twitter (or do anything Twitter related)

This post explains what was wrong and how I fixed it.

This post is to see whether or not I can use Twitter Publisher, as the STC settings suggests it knows I’m logged into Twitter as bobbingwide.

Short while later

I got the following error from Twitter. It turns out that the my registered applications doesn’t include twenty-tens.com (anymore)

Re-register and re-try

I performed the following steps

1. Choose Settings > Simple Twitter Connect
2. Open Help
3. Follow instructions to register
4. Replace the old values for Twitter Consumer Key and Twitter Consumer Secret
5. Choose Users > Your profile
6. Click on the button next to Twitter Connect
7. You should then see
8. Now Log Out (top right of Dashboard)
9. Login this time using Twitter
10. Update post (as I’m doing right now)
11. Then press the Tweet button  in Twitter Publisher
12. Check it’s got there.

Great, that worked. Now to try http://www.twenty-tens.co.uk
